Registered Nurses provide skilled care and instructions to patients and their families.They enable the patient and family members to function independently at home, thereby increasing the comfort of the patients and improving overall health.

Social Workers, Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapist and Dietician

Physical and occupation therapists focus on evaluating and diagnosing movement dysfunctions as well as treating the physical source of the problem; the injured tissues and structures. Both physical and occupational therapists are trained extensively in anatomy and the musculoskeletal system resulting in both being very knowledgeable about musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation.

Speech therapists focus on evaluating adults with specific speech, language and communication problems to enable them to communicate to the best of their ability:

  • communication or eating and swallowing problems following neurological impairments and degenerative conditions, including stroke, head injury, Parkinson’s disease and dementia
  • head, neck or throat cancer
  • voice problems
  • mental health issues
  • learning difficulties
  • physical disabilities
  • stammering
  • hearing impairment

Dietitians focus on identifying nutrition problems and assessing the nutritional status of patients in the home setting, thereby developing diet plans and counseling patients on special diet modifications.

Medical Social Workers focus on determining patient needs and identify any limitations, barriers, or safety issues that might impede recovery, educate patients and families regarding community resources and support, and assist with long-range planning, including advance care planning and directives, and overall care opportunities.


Certified Home Health Aides

Certified Home Health Aides help patients with bathing, washing, grooming, and dressing thereby improving overall hygiene.
